LAW, ETHICS AND COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY

LAW

- is a system of rules and guidelines, usually enforced through a set of institutions.

ETHICS

- also known as moral philosophy, is a branch of philosophy that addresses questions about morality—that is, concepts such as good and evil, right and wrong, virtue and vice, justice, etc.

COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY

- loosely speaking, computer technology refers to the design, construction and programming of computers. This broad definition encompasses a few major areas such as hardware, software and networking. Advanced areas involve artificial intelligence, robotics and biomedical forensics.

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LAW, ETHICS AND COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY

- law has the relationship to ethics because it also derives of doing what right and wrong. It also protects individual rights, protects ethical values of the people in the society. When you obey or dis obey the law, you do some things that is right/ wrong. When you apply law and ethics to computer technology, it's up to you on how you will deal or communicate other people to spread information to do things right without obeying the law.
